From June 8 to 14, the Louisiana Restaurant Association is in partnership with New Orleans & Company to host this year's Restaurant Week New Orleans.

During Restaurant Week, participating restaurants will offer prix fixe menus, giving diners a chance to try the best of each restaurant's menu. Not only is it an opportunity to enjoy multi-course meals that highlight the art of New Orleans cooking, made with fresh, local ingredients, but it is also one of the easiest and most fun ways to support local restaurants. In this list, you'll find a continuation of this year's best restaurants to visit during this year's Restaurant Week.


1. Briquette

A casual, yet contemporary restaurant, Briquette is known for its open kitchen and 18-foot seafood display. The menu provides a taste of some of these displayed fish, offering the trout almondine and the surf & turf, which is a seared sea scallop and filet medallion. The restaurant's bar and community tables make the vicinity resemble a house's living room. The bar is well-known for its unique cocktails and tasteful wines, including a dessert cocktail called the Bird Dog Praline Whiskey Café au Lait.

A newer restaurant, Central City BBQ has quickly made a name for itself with its unique, rustic interior, one of the largest venues in the city and, most importantly, award-winningly delicious smoked BBQ.
