What is Savor the City?

New Orleans is one of the world's greatest food cities, and Savor the City, which will run from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on August 27, helps to support the restaurants that have helped the city earn that distinction.

Attendees can taste dishes from many of the city's iconic restaurants, including Dooky Chase's, Atchafalaya, Bao Mi, and more.

There are two levels of ticketing for the event. General admission tickets are $109, and VIP tickets, which include early admission and curated wine tastings, are $163.

More Info About Savor the City

Historic Black masking group the New Orleans Voodoo Baby Dolls will also make an appearance at Savor the City.

The group aims to "conjure Creole culture" and raise awareness for the more than century-old practice of Black women Baby Doll masking in New Orleans. They keep the tradition going strong by masking and second lining at events throughout the year, including parading with the Krewe of Red Beans on Lundi Gras.
