Compère Lapin Presents Ladies Night NOLA Series
Ladies Night NOLA, brought together by some of New Orleans' most beloved female-led hospitality businesses, is a collaborative event presented by Compère Lapin and will be held throughout the summer. Guests are introduced to new destinations designed to support local businesses and celebrate the women that shape the city's hospitality scene.
This series features participating restaurants, bars, bakeries, and hospitality businesses for rotating Wednesday events through the end of September 2026. At each venue, there will be a spin on the dining experience through specialty cocktails, wine offerings, bites, collaborations, entertainment, and more. All events are open to the public, with reservations being suggested but not required.

Compère Lapin & Nina Compton
Located in the Old No. 77 Hotel, Compère Lapin is a renowned restaurant that opened in 2015 and draws inspiration from the cultures, traditions, and experiences of Chef Nina Compton. The chef fell in love with New Orleans and its vibrant culinary community during her time filming Top Chef: New Orleans. With Larry Miller, her husband and business partner, the two created a restaurant that reflects both her energy and the creativity and hospitality that defines New Orleans. The name, translated to "brother rabbit" in French, comes from her childhood in St. Lucia, where she read traditional Caribbean folktales about a mischievous rabbit.
Drawing inspiration from Chef Compton's Caribbean upbringing, French culinary training, and experience with Italian cuisine, the menu blends familiar flavors with unexpected influences and seasonal ingredients, while also showcasing the Gulf and Louisiana's palate. The restaurant highlights the region through thoughtfully crafted small plates, seafood, meats, vegetables, and house-made specialties. One of their signature dishes is the curried goat with sweet potato gnocchi.
