One of the fan favorites for Downtown New Orleans returns on August 5 for a night of art, music, food, drinks and fun.
You may have guessed it no problem, but White Linen Night is back and better this August after being a part of the Arts District for 29 years.
It will be going on from 5-10 p.m. on the 300-600 blocks of Julia Street in the New Orleans' historic Warehouse Arts District and for the first time, including the 500 block of Saint Joseph for a block party. Connecting the Julia-street thoroughfare with other galleries, museums, and institutions nearby for more art to explore.
Attendees are expected to bring out their best white to socialize and satisfy their artistic eye.
World-class art installations will be shown to guests from places down Julia Street. Fidelity Bank has been a proud title sponsor for White Linen Nights to be presented again to the community. They believe in investing in the art, culture, and economics of New Orleans to help its success and growth.
Since being founded in 1908, the bank has done nothing more than serve the community of Southeast Louisiana as it was created to do.
The Arts District of New Orleans (ADNO) tries to stay on the same path of growth and enrichment for the community by investing in the younger upcoming artists. All 17 of their contemporary art galleries, four world-class museums and institutions, rotating outdoor public sculpture collections, and much more come together to show visual arts, culinary arts, musical arts, and the art of travel to continuously make New Orleans a legendary artistic experience for all.
Nonetheless, you will not want to miss the Contemporary Arts Center New Orleans' live after-party available to all guests after the art walk ends at 10 p.m.
So do not walk, but run to the Arts District New Orleans official website for more information and a list of all the member galleries and institution exhibitions, food trucks and vendors, and other activities to explore.
