Get ready to sift through old-school t-shirts to find your treasure at the second Louisiana Vintage Festival being held over the course of two days (as opposed to just one day last year which sold out) Saturday, August 22 and Sunday, August 23 at the House of Blues. Over 60 vendors of cool vintage and retro items like clothing, games, toys, and more will be among other fun features like photo opportunities.
One fun event that is new for this iteration is the recreation of bygone New Orleans bar Bali Ha'i. The Pontchartrain Beach bar is back in business thanks to Beachbum Berry and Latitude 29 who will be recreating tiki drinks according to the original recipes.
Louisiana Vintage Festival was created by vintage store Vice & Graft and Swamp Rags owners Chris and Megan Olson. Megan said, "New Orleans is the festival capital of the world, but other cities like Brimfield, MA and Round Top, TX hold the biggest vintage festivals. It's time for New Orleans to have a vintage festival."
Early bird tickets ($25) let you in at 10:30 AM, and General Admission tickets ($15) allow entry at 12 PM. The event closes at 4 PM. You also have the option to get General Admission for both days at $25. Tickets are on sale at https://louisianavintagefestival.com.
