NOLA's Trombone Shorty at Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival

New Orleans' very own Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews will take to the stage with his band Orleans Avenue in June 2026 at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee.

Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue will be the only New Orleans-based group at the festival, representing the city's cultural emphasis on the musical genres of jazz and R&B. The Orleans Avenue band members include Peter Murano (guitarist), Dan Oestreicher (saxophonist), and Joey Peebles (drummer).

Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival

Bonnaroo takes place June 11 to 14 and will feature a variety of artists from Thursday to Sunday. The Strokes, Kesha, Noah Kahn, Role Model, and RÜFÜS DU SOL are the event headliners, while performances by Mt. Joy, The Neighborhood, and Modest Mouse will be included.

Tickets went on sale on December 5 and a variety of package options are offered. One and four-day tickets are available, with discounted four-day passes for students, first responders, and military servicemen. General admissions ticket prices currently range from $169 for one day to $420 for four days, among higher prices for top tier ticketing.

Bonnaroo is both a music and arts festival, with creative experiences separate from the featured performances. Whether visiting for a day or camping for the weekend, guests can explore the arts market, partake in yoga classes, and view the Bonnaroo parade. An optional 5K race, ferris wheel rides, and access to wellness quarters are also included in the Bonnaroo experience.

Bonnaroo Farm is the location of the festival, a spacious and secluded festival land plot in Manchester, Tennessee. The 700-acres provide a unique and immersive artistic experience by disconnecting guests from the external chaos of everyday life.

About Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue

Bonnaroo featured artist and New Orleans native Trombone Shorty began his musical journey at the age of four when performing with Bo Diddley at Jazz Fest. He gives back to the city through the Trombone Shorty Foundation, which provides students with quality instruments and musical instruction.

Trombone Shorty received Grammy nominations and has performed four times at the awards ceremony. He also was invited to perform at the White House on six occasions, as well as other televised programs such as the 2025 Super Bowl.

This is not Trombone Shorty's first appearance at Bonnaroo, and it surely will not be his last with the charisma, artistry, and talent he brings to the stage.
