NOWFE 2026
The New Orleans Wine & Food Experience (NOWFE) is one of the city's culinary festivals, bringing together chefs, winemakers, distillers and food fanatics from across the country with special events, such as the Bourbon & Bubbles event.
Founded as a nonprofit organization, NOWFE brings together chefs, winemakers and spirit makers from around the world to create tasting events, educational seminars, and other culinary experiences. The festival itself will take place from June 10 to June 13.
Beyond the festival, NOWFE has a broader mission to support mission to support the local hospitality industry and contribute to charitable causes. The organization raises funds for nonprofits and culinary education initiatives.
Bourbon & Bubbles
One of the pre-festival events in the NOWFE lineup is Bourbon & Bubbles, taking place on Friday, May 15 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at The Gallery Venue, owned by Pigéon Catering & Events. It is located on 755 Tchoupitoulas St. This is a signature tasting event designed around the concept of pairing bourbon with sparkling wine, bringing together two distinct beverage styles.
Guests are invite to explore a carefully curated selection of spirits and sparkling wines in a refined, lively atmosphere.
A Curated Tasting Experience
At Bourbon & Bubbles, attendees can expect a journey through different flavors. The bourbon often features small-batch and aged selections, showcasing tasting notes such as vanilla, oak, caramel, and spice. Alongside, there are sparkling wines and champagne-style pours that bring more brightness and acidity to the experience. The drink pairings help guests understand how flavor pairings interact.
Beyond A Tasting Event
Bourbon & Bubbles also reflects the deeper mission of NOWFE. As a non-profit organization, the festival exists not only to celebrate culinary achievements but also to give back to the hospitality community. Proceeds from the event help fund educational programs and support charity partners.
