Some of the best attractions in downtown New Orleans are the incredible museums! Even if you're a local, chances are you may not have been to every museum the city has to offer. Of course, the widely known National WWII Museum and the New Orleans Museum of Art are both incredible experiences, but this month, there is an opportunity to be reminded of the multitude of unique museums all over the city. Throughout August, 23 participating New Orleans museums are giving members the opportunity to visit free of charge! Not a member? No worries. Join a participating museum online today!

Museum Month is a great opportunity to learn about the rich culture of New Orleans by revisiting a favorite or experiencing a new museum. One of the participating museums is Studio Be. You may have seen artist BMike's murals around town. Studio Be is BMike's first solo show as a visual artist. The 35,000 square foot warehouse is located in the Bywater neighborhood. Other participating museums include the Ashe Cultural Arts Center and the Sazerac House, where you can enjoy interactive cocktail exhibits and exclusive spirit tastings! Make a day of it: start with a historic Sazerac and then head to the Ogden Museum of Southern Art and the Contemporary Arts Center, both located on Camp Street.
