Louisiana Residents Offered Half-Priced Admission to The National WWII Museum this July

WWII Museum Offers July Half-Price Pass

Louisiana residents can receive 50% off admission to The National WWII Museum in New Orleans during the entire month of July 2025 by presenting a valid, state-issued photo ID at the ticket counter.

The offer is valid July 1 through July 31 and applies to up to four admissions per ID. General admission tickets for Louisiana residents range from $13 to $18 and include access to all permanent exhibits and galleries.

Residents can also purchase package deals. The Freedom Theater Package ($17.50-$22.50) includes access to the 4D theater experience, and the Guided Tour Package ($27.50-$32.50) includes both the Freedom Theater and a guided tour.

Three guided tours are offered daily at discounted rates of $20 per person through the summer. These include:

  • Museum Highlights Tour (10 a.m., 2 p.m.): overview of the Museum's key galleries and exhibits
  • Home Front Tour (10 a.m.): covers the Arsenal of Democracy exhibit
  • Europe & Pacific Tour (10 a.m., 1 p.m.): explores the Campaigns of Courage pavilion

The Museum is currently featuring two special exhibitions. "Fighting for the Right to Fight: African American Experiences in World War II" is on view through August 24 in the Senator John Alario, Jr. Special Exhibition Hall. "On American Shores: The Aleutian Islands Campaign" is on view through January 11, 2026, in the Joe W. and Dorothy D. Brown Foundation Special Exhibit Gallery.

The newly renovated Malcolm S. Forbes Rare and Iconic Artifacts Gallery, which opened in March 2024, is also on view. It includes more than 50 artifacts and a new interactive installation, "Voices from the Front," which features digital interviews with WWII veterans, Home Front workers, and other participants.

Louisiana residents also receive 25% off summer rates at The Higgins Hotel & Conference Center, the official hotel of the Museum, with rooms starting at $125 per night. The discount is available on select dates through January 15, 2026, and bookings must be made by August 31, 2025. Blackout dates and restrictions apply.

The National WWII Museum is located at 945 Magazine St. in New Orleans and is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online at nationalww2museum.org, by phone at 504-528-1944, or in person.
