Louisiana Irish-Italian Parade 2026
44 years in the making, the Louisiana Irish-Italian Parade has continued to connect two cultures via the excitement and community inspired by a parade.
On Sunday, March 22 at 12 p.m., get ready for an afternoon full of green, white, red, and orange over in Metairie.

What to Expect This Year
Beginning on Veterans Boulevard, the parade spans about 3.7 miles. Proceeding towards Severn Avenue, the procession makes a right, and then a U-turn once meeting 18th Street.
Returning to Veterans Boulevard, the parade turns right, making an addition U-turn just before Clearview Parkway, concluding at the Clearview City Center.
The parade's 2026 grand marshals include the Irish representative Cameron Henry, the Louisiana's Senate President and District Nine state senator. He will be joined by Erik Youngblood, who will serve as this year's Italian Grand Marshal.

Irish-Italian Parade Signatures
The procession has exciting throws for parade goers, including a variety of bead necklace designs with Irish and Italian elements. Cups, frisbees, and foam footballs are also possible catches along the route.
There are additional events in affiliation with the the Louisiana Irish-Italian Parade, including a dinner dance, a toasting party, and mandatory meetings to maintain organization involvement.
The toasting party is scheduled for March 17 at Stepbrother's Bar and Grill at 4:30 p.m.. The dinner dance takes place on March 20, at the Chateau Country Club at 7 p.m.. Additionally, the mandatory organization meeting takes place at Rummel High School in the Raider Room, at 6 p.m., on March 10.
