The Hilton Riverside transformed into Wonderland for the Women's Guild's spectacular Mad Hatter's Luncheon. This event was Alice in Wonderland-themed and titled All That Jazz & A Little Pizazz to encourage opera lovers to get creative with fantasy and music accents in their clothing.
The ladies and gentlemen festooned with fairy tale finery were gathered to raise money for the New Orleans Opera, and they did so by holding a luxurious silent auction, auctioning and selling very fancy hats, and more. Ballins LTD was on-hand to showcase their latest spring fashions that captured everyone's attention on the catwalk. But it was the awards for the top hats and craziest costumes that brought rounds of applause.
