Foodie Feast: Louisiana Seafood Cook-Off Edition
Louisiana Seafood and Visit Jefferson Parish is presenting the 22nd annual Foodie Feast: Louisiana Seafood Cook-Off in Kenner.
The event is for both cooks and customers whether coming to craft the perfect dish or critique it.

Culinary Creativity for the Win
Chefs from every corner of Louisiana come to compete in the cook-off for the chance to win the title of King or Queen of Louisiana Seafood. Winners also advance to represent the state at other competitions, such as the Great American Seafood Cook-Off. Cooks who have won the Louisiana Seafood Cook-Off in past years have been offered magazine covers, the chance to open their own establishments, and even to host their own cooking show. The crown of Louisiana Seafood King or Queen has often been referred to as a "culinary catapult."
Along with a panel of judges choosing their own winner, guests can also vote for a "People's Choice" winner via Louisiana Seafood's Facebook page.
