It's only six months till Christmas, and given this particularly hot summer, everyone will be looking forward to some holiday cheer. Santa's scout elves especially!
Don't miss out on the return of The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Musical to fill your family's hearts with the spirit of the season. This musical will capture a glimpse of the magical lives of Santa's Scout Elves, particularly one Scout Elf as he helps his human family remember the significance of the Christmas spirit.
Coming to the Mahalia Jackson Theater on December 7 at 6 p.m., this holiday musical stems from the inspiration of the Lumistella Company's box set brand, The Elf on the Shelf, created by a mother-daughter team in 2005. Known as the official source for the stories of Santa's North Pole, Lumistella Company collaborated with Mills Entertainment, equally known for the ability to make shows unforgettable and bring them to life. It was a marriage made in heaven, or maybe the North Pole!
The original stage production was developed by writer and lyricist, Sara Wordsworth, composer, Russ Kaplan, and director, Sam Scalamoni. Their combined years of Broadway and Disney experience were apt to produce a Christmas masterpiece to be loved by all.
