The Welcome Affair Returns
The Welcome Affair, presented by Morris Bart, returns to the Orpheum Theater this summer to kick off the Essence Music Festival and Fourth of July weekend.
Produced by WYLD‑FM and WQUE‑FM, listeners can only get tickets by visiting one of the official contest stops hosted at local businesses across the New Orleans area.
Each stop will select six winners, and each winner receives a pair of tickets to the July 1 concert. No tickets are for sale, and you must be present at the ticket stop when winners are announced to claim your prize.
Lineup & Tickets
This year's lineup features R&B and soul favorites Chanté Moore, Carl Thomas, and Cupid.
Ticket stops are being held at spots like Premier Hyundai, Cricket Wireless, Wendy's, and more on June 21, June 28, June 30, and July 1. DJs, including Wild Wayne, Ad Berry, and DJ Ro will be on-site for live broadcasts.
