The heat can be intense in New Orleans, so you'll need a way to keep yourself cool when the humidity gets too high. These 10 businesses offer fun vibes and cool pools that should be enjoyed during the Memorial Day weekend.

1. High Five at the Barnett Hotel

High Five offers a rooftop pool and bar experience, with skyline views alongside a polished, downtown pool setting. The bar menu consists of frozen cocktails and small bites. Seating options range from general access to reserved loungers and cabanas, making it flexible for both individuals and groups.

The hours of the grill are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, and the bar is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Tickets are available online on ResortPass. Locals day passes cost $10 for Wednesdays only, and the typical adult day pass costs $27. There are also lounge chairs and cabana options available.

Tickets to access the rooftop pool area are available for $35 online on ResortPass. There are poolside food and drinks available for purchase from Above the Grid hotel bar. Additionally, only adults 18 and above are permitted access, and only those 21 and above are permitted access after 7 p.m. Sofas at the Above the Grid and cabanas are also available for purchase.

3. Royal Sonseta

Located on Bourbon Street, Royal Sonesta's Swimming Pool & Oasis Pool Bar feels like a hidden pocket of water tucked away the French Quarter noise. 5. The Blackbird Hotel
