METRONOME by The Idea Village
Applications for The Idea Village's METRONOME, a music and culture tech accelerator program, are now open for this year. METRONOME was built to challenge ideas and support innovation in the music business.

About METRONOME
METRONOME, while often recognized as an instrument used for tempo, has found a new meaning in this 12-week program for entrepreneurs in the music and entertainment industry. New Orleans nonprofit The Idea Village founded the program, and METRONOME is a part of The Idea Village's IDEAinstitute cohort. This idea-stage accelerator curriculum introduces innovative entrepreneurs and aspiring startup founders to the tools they need to turn an idea into a scalable venture.
In addition to full access to the IDEAinstitute programming, METRONOME participants will have the opportunity for a dedicated mentor, specialized workshops, coaching sessions, and constant networking possibilities. This year's program is especially unique as it is their first year expanding the pathway to culture tech founders rather than solely those in the music industry. With dozens of focus and challenge areas, METRONOME provides a personalized experience for all participants.

About The Idea Village
The Idea Village is a nonprofit that works overtime to create an innovation hub on the Gulf Coast for the entire community. With over 23,000 entrepreneurs served, their programs are made to bring an idea to a startup, and later a startup to a $1 million company. No matter the idea, The Idea Village is there to support your aspirations and help you build an innovative business.
Programs such as the IDEAinstitute and VILLAGEx, a slightly more advanced accelerator program, are made possible by GNO Inc. and NOTCF (New Orleans Tourism and Cultural Foundation). GNO Inc. focuses on economic development in Southeast Louisiana and on creating conditions where companies want to invest their capital in New Orleans. NOTCF is a nonprofit that seeks to impact its team and community through partnerships, grants, programs, and training to drive tourism and sustain the city's unique culture.
