Free Sauce For A Worthy Cause

Raising Cane's will be selling "Sauce Doubloons" for $1 at all 16 New Orleans area locations now until Monday, March 3, 2025.

All of the sales collected up until Ash Wednesday will go towards this year's beneficiary winner of Canes Mardi Gras Season Doubloons campaign: the New Orleans Tourism and Cultural Fund (NOTCF), chosen by Queen Tahj.

That's not all! Each limited edition sauce doubloon purchased during this time will be eligible for a free Cane's sauce every time it is presented until Easter Day. Be sure to stop in by one of the 16 locations during your festivities before the campaign ends.

About the NOTCF

Since its founding in 2021, The New Orleans Tourism and Cultural Fund has awarded over 1,000 grants resulting in over $8.3 million of benefits given to recipients. NOTCF is a non-profit organization that specializes in uplifting the culture in the city of New Orleans through partnerships, grants, and programs to advance sustainable tourism.

Any individuals with resources that uplift the city's traditions and assist in the evolution of skills, knowledge, turning ideas into goods, services, or places that support their local cultural economy and tourism offerings are encouraged to apply for funding.

NOTCF gives back to the community through their funding, which comes in three levels. The first level is for smaller projects, individuals, or group programs with intentions to produce a single production or event on behalf of the community. The second level is for projects or programs that reach a broader audience that aim to support or benefit an organization or business, train a division of cultural influencers for specific tasks over a limited period, and support larger community events that can make a significant impact on the cultural economy. The third level is for long-term projects or programs that reach a wide audience on a large scale, such as training a class of culture influencers in multiple skills, larger multi-community, or city-wide events.
