The Pythian Market is a new food collective in the Central Business District that already has people excited about their wide variety of participating vendors. Now they’ve announced even more weekend specialties and a delightful limited-time pop-up from another vendor!
Starting now, every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., customers can choose from thirteen different brunch vendors as well as $5 mimosas and $6 bloody marys from Bar 1908. Brunch options include, but are not limited to, brunch pizzas, breakfast tacos, and a traditional Jamaican breakfast as well as more common, but still delicious options. While eating, guests can also enjoy the stylings of a live jazz band from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m..
On Sundays during football season, customers will have access to live gameday screenings, tailgate goodies, and post-game celebrations. Bar 1908 will also be serving beer and Southern Comfort NOLA Cola, and brunch options will be available as well. Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in the Market’s brackets/loyalty program, awarding customers who get their loyalty cards stamped at all of Pythian’s vendors with entry into a drawing for a chance to win the “Ultimate Tailgate Package.” The prize includes a full tailgate package for ten people and food from every vendor at Pythian Market.
Also starting August 8 and continuing for only four weeks, Just Delights will be doing a pop-up at the Market. Just Delights is an artisanal ice cream shop, and their presence at the Market will give customers the opportunity to enjoy all kinds of sweet treats, including a banana splits sundae bars.
The Pythian Market is located at 234 Loyola Avenue and is open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Remember, these offers won’t last forever, so don’t miss your chance to enjoy live jazz, tailgate parties, and fresh ice cream!
