The Red Beans and Rice pie at Mid City Pizza was named one of the top vegan pizzas in the country by PETA. PETA chose 10 restaurants in the entire country, and Mid City Pizza made the list of the top ten pies! PETA also noted that vegan cheese was available for any of the pizzas, although Mid City Pizza has options ranging from vegan pizzas to a meat-monster option.
