Shaya Burnett Foundation
The Shaya Burnett Foundation was created by chef Alon Shaya and Donna Burnett, his own CTE teacher, in order to offer culinary education and resources to high school students.
Alon Shaya credits both his teacher, and the available CTE services for encouraging his passion in cooking, and inspiring him to contribute back with the Shaya Burnett foundation and his further involvement with the NOCC.
