Through July 28, Latinx students in the United States and Puerto Rico are invited to apply to the Miller Lite Brewed to Be Bright Scholarship—a $5,000 award intended to empower the next generation of Hispanic leaders. In collaboration with the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU), Miller Lite will select 23 eligible undergraduate students to receive this coveted award.

"Supporting the educational aspirations of Hispanic students is a cornerstone of our commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive future," Molson Coors Community Affairs Manager Lacey Golonka said in a press release. "Through our collaboration with HACU, we are proud to provide scholarships that not only alleviate financial barriers but also enhance career development and leadership skills."

With a total of $115,000 in awards, Miller Lite is dedicated to supporting Latinx students in their pursuit of higher education and professional growth. To be eligible for the scholarship, students must:

  • Be attending a two-year or four-year HACU Member Institution in California, Colorado, Illinois, New York, Texas, Wisconsin, or Puerto Rico.

  • Be an undergraduate student.

  • Be enrolled part-time or full-time.

  • Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher.

  • Be 21 years of age or older.

  • Open to U.S. citizens, permanent residents, legally authorized to work in the U.S., and others.

If selected, recipients are sponsored and expected to attend HACU's 38th ¡Adelante! Leadership Institute student track from November 1 through 3 in Aurora, Colorado. The three-day event serves as a networking platform for over 500 undergraduate students, where attendees have the opportunity to participate in presentations, workshops, and connect with conference exhibitors.
