Anyone who is a food lover, music listener, and wine drinker has officially met their match with the Louisiana Food + Wine Festival. Hosted Sept. 14-17 in Lake Charles, Louisiana, it will be the season's biggest event, with hundreds of visitors from all over traveling to this festival to try our tasty southern dishes.

Tickets are on sale now and range from $65 to $225. Dishes can range in from shrimp to bbq ribs. Either way, you will not want to miss out.

For some, this holy grail of festivals is planned to be a smash hit focusing on a fun-filled four days, including culinary and beverage tastings, with live music. The Southwest Louisiana Cajun and Creole culture is their main attraction for the event, alongside its culinary superstars and beverage experts who will attend.

The South's number one culinary festival event management company, The AdFish Group, is the reason for the Louisiana Food + Wine Festival. Serving the community, they have earned $500,000 in donations over the last decade. It has been announced that the United Way of Southwest Louisiana is the festival's Official Charity partner.

This festival enlightens your mind and taste buds with events that will educate you on the Southern Region's growing food and beverage community by offering wine tasting, knowledge and a grand Jazz Brunch at the very end.

It is sure to be a networking experience for all interested in culinary. Whether you were born and raised here or are a chef touring for inspiration, it can be found at this festival for all interested in Southern eats. Beautiful lights and canopies to cover the venues will be hung up and draped around every area, making this another opportunity for a fun date night or a self-care wine-drinking evening.

Lake Charles will also have an array of options if anyone wanted to venture out from the festival. With a L'Auberge Casino Resort, Golden Nugget, and Horseshoe Casino Resort, boredom will not be a problem. Every resort offers multiple activities, from spa treatments to golf, to meet guests' needs. All while done under a beautiful sunset or stunningly lit rooftop bars.

The city even offers activity rentals such as kayaks and jet skis if you are not a fan gator watching at the local wildlife refuges and estuaries on the Creole Nature Trail All-American Road.
