Essential Knowledge for Street Performers & Musicians
The Music and Culture Coalition of New Orleans, in conjunction with the Tulane First Amendment Clinic, will host their "Know Your Rights" training at Buffa's Back Room for street musicians and performers.
Located at 1001 Esplanade Ave., the event will cover topics like laws governing street performance, first amendment rights as a performer, understanding "clean zones," and dealing with law enforcement on Thursday, November 14 from 2 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. The event will be free and open to all performers who are looking for more information.
