Celebrate All Things Italian
Louisiana is a melting pot; a place where different cultures can come together to celebrate as one. Louisiana is known for its historical ties to French, Cajun, Creole, Latin, and African-American heritages, but there is so much more cultural diversity that encompasses Louisiana. There is always a chance to celebrate different cultural backgrounds through festivals and events. So celebrate Louisiana's Italian population at Kenner's Italian Heritage Fest this year.
Spring is approaching, which means warm weather and sunny skies. It's the perfect time to grab your lawn chairs, a cooler, and head out to local festivals around town. Celebrating 22 years of Italian heritage, Festa Italiana in Kenner is back again for more live music, Italian food, and arts and crafts. From March 1-3, this all day event will be held in Kenner's Rivertown, a historic location that has many different attractions, restaurants, and shops.
Italian Cuisine

What is a festival without delicious foods from vendors across the city? Don't worry, there will be so much Italian food you won't be able to taste it all! Nor Joe Importing Company, a local Italian grocery and deli, will be bringing out their cheese wheel to the fest. Cheese lovers won't want to miss it.
