Heroes Every Month of the Year

On Wednesday, April 9, Children's Advocacy Center - Hope House, dedicated to ending the cycle of child abuse in the Northshore, will be hosting their fourth annual Champions for Children Awards breakfast.

This event is made possible by the Children's Advocacy Center - Hope House, an independent non-profit committed to ending the cycle of child abuse in the Northshore. The breakfast will be held at the Fleur De Lis Center in Mandeville, where they will award seven local heroes for their impact in the lives of families and children across the Northshore.

The keynote speaker this year is actor, director, and producer Anthony Edwards, who played Dr. Mark Greene on the first eight seasons of the show ER—from which he received a Golden Globe Award, six Screen Actors Guild Awards, and four Primetime Emmy Awards nominees. He has also appeared in various films and television series, including Top Gun, Zodiac, Revenge of the Nerds, Planes, and more.

  1. Rachel Adair, Executive Director of Northlake Crisis Pregnancy Center
