Food Fight 2024 will be at The Shrine
The third annual Food Fight Top Dish competition is officially returning Thursday March 14, 2024. The event will take place in Metairie on the field at The Shrine in Airline, offering a convenient commute for those living in NOLA, Jefferson Parish, and Northshore.
The night will include a diverse spread of dishes and cocktails for participants to enjoy. Proceeds for the event will be donated to the PLEASE Foundation, a local nonprofit organization. The PLEASE Foundation works with at-risk teenagers in New Orleans by facilitating mentorship, leadership training, and scholarships to encourage students to attend and succeed in college.

Celebrity judges and local attendees will team up to
judge a wide array of delicious foods and creative cocktails from over 40 of
NOLA's best restaurants. There are several categories for voting on dishes, including most traditional, most creative, best vegetarian, best classic cocktail, best
creative cocktail, and overall grand champion. Last year's winners of the night
LUFU NOLA will be returning to the Food Fight to battle to keep their winner
status.
The larger space in Metairie will allow for the event to include more live entertainment, specialty drinks, and unique events than ever before. There will be a wine tent, as well as one station pouring samples from incredible local distilleries across Louisiana. There will also be live performances from James Andrews, the Crescent City All-Stars, and Honey Island Swamp Band to keep the energy in full swing all night long. The night will also include the messy fan favorite of Jello wrestling.
Tickets for the event range from General Admission for
$85, first taste tickets for $105, and VIP for $135. Early Bird tickets are
currently on sale for a discount. All tickets include access to food and drinks
once inside the event, which is 21+.
