Crescent City Farmers Market at The Batture Starting May 13
The Crescent City Farmers Market has announced a temporary relocation of its Uptown Tuesday Farmer Market from its usual location at 200 Broadway St. to The Batture at 25 Walnut St. on May 13. This change is due to ongoing construction at the original location.
The Batture, located near the Mississippi River levee, offers a spacious and scenic location for the community event. Shoppers can enjoy a family-friendly, open-air setting with on-site parking and plenty of green space for children to play, making it an ideal temporary home for the market.
On May 13, shoppers should expect music from The Tangiers Combo, a chef demo by Chef Amarys Koenig-Herndon from Palm & Pine, and free CCFM steel water bottles for the first 50 shoppers.
New Locale, Same Quality

The farmers market will feature a variety of local vendors offering fresh produce, meats, baked goods, and artisanal foods. Patrons can still expect the same high-quality offerings from their favorite local producers even with the relocation.
The market operates from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., providing all shoppers enough time to shop and enjoy the community ambience with all the same friendly faces and quality products they're used to.
This relocation is an excellent opportunity for both regular attendees and newcomers alike to experience the market in a new setting. With its beautiful riverside location and convenient amenities, The Batture promises to be a welcoming and enjoyable venue for the market's temporary home as reconstruction progresses on the original location. So come down to the Crescent City Farmers Market on May 13 to support local farmers and food artisans from all over New Orleans and buy fresh and healthy produce, meats, baked goods, and more while enjoying the beautiful view of the Mississippi River on The Batture, as well.
