While winning a free king cake is very exciting, Haydel's Bakery is also offering the cold
brew-infused king cakes for purchase. Haydel's still sells award-winning
traditional king cakes and is offering Jameson Cold Brew-infused king cake and
Kahlua Blonde Roast-infused king cake for a limited time only.
Haydel's has won numerous awards for its customized wedding
cakes, including #1 Best Place to Get a Wedding Cake by Gambit's Best of New Orleans in 2012. It has also won the Guinness
World Record for the largest king cake, in 2010, and in 2011, Haydel's was named
the Jefferson Chamber National Family-Owned Business of the Year. The bakery is
also available for you to preorder special cakes and goodies for birthdays,
weddings, baby showers, and special occasions.
Haydel's is currently open for in-store shopping, but
customers must wear a mask. You can also order ahead for pick-up. Normal hours
of operations are Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., and Saturday,
8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., and they are closed on Sundays and Mondays. However,
from January 6 through Mardi Gras, Haydel's is open seven days a week.
