Known as New Orleans' one and only live, full-time place for comedy, Comedy House New Orleans hosts shows six nights a week. The intimate, modern venue holds 70 seats.

Although they don't serve food, they do have a full bar to sip on a drink and listen to the jokes. They have multiple shows in one night. The Comedy House is open everyday of the week from 6:30 p.m. to 12 a.m., besides Tuesday.


2. Saenger Theatre

The Saenger Theatre is known for its beautiful architecture and the many plays, shows, concerts, and other events it puts on. They also host many comedy shows and stand-ups.

Comedy legend Jerry Seinfeld will be performing a comedy stand-up at the Saenger Theatre on Friday, May 31. He has two performances, one at 7 p.m. and the following at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now and vary in price.

On Wednesday, they host "Think You're Funny?" Comedy Open Mic shows. It is a free comedy show that you can sign up for and participate in. The sign ups begin at 8 p.m. with the show beginning at 9 p.m.
