Barcadia, frequent winner of Best Bar - CBD/Warehouse by readers of Where Y'at, has closed and will become a new venue—a restaurant called Mister Oso. This restaurant will specialize in smoked meat tacos, ceviches, and delicious Latin American-inspired cocktails.
A lively, fun space, Mister Oso will feature dishes such as birria, mojo, smoked carrot tinga, lamb barbacoa along with traditional dishes like guacamole and empanadas. Fresh, tasty cocktails include Palomas, Pisco Punch, and Amiga Sangria. Get your churro fix here for dessert when you're done.
Mister Oso comes to New Orleans from Colorado, where they opened in Denver's RiNo Arts District in the fall of 2019 and immediately received recognition as one of Thrillist's places to "Find the Best Mexican in Denver" two years in a row, as well as being named as one of 16 "Best Restaurants in Denver" by The Infatuation. Our team continues to explore the playful and flavorful menu at Mister Oso with rotating taco dishes, Peruvian cebiche, and crudo, as well as crave-worthy vegetarian offerings.
