Free Community Screening Event for Men's Health

Tandem Clinical Research is hosting free community screening events to help men in the Greater New Orleans area learn more about low testosterone—a common but often overlooked condition that can affect energy, focus, mood, and overall vitality.

The events will be held at Tandem Clinical Research, located at 1151 Barataria Blvd., Suite 3200, in Marrero, LA, on October 14, 21, and 28 from 7:30-9:30 a.m. Attendees are encouraged to arrive while fasting for the most accurate test results; a complimentary breakfast will be provided after screening. Men ages 18 to 49 are invited to attend.

The quick, simple blood test measures testosterone levels and helps identify whether low testosterone may be affecting daily life.

About Tandem

Tandem Clinical Research, a trusted leader in Louisiana's medical research community, is on a mission to make healthcare innovation more accessible. Through partnerships with top pharmaceutical companies, Tandem helps bring cutting-edge treatments from the lab directly to the local community.

Their work goes beyond data collection—it's also about empowering people with knowledge, early detection, and access to new care options. Regular testing of testosterone levels is a crucial step in understanding a man's overall health, encompassing physical performance and emotional well-being. By offering these free screenings, Tandem is breaking down barriers to preventive care and ensuring that more men have the opportunity to take charge of their health before small issues become larger ones.

Why You Should Test

Those found to have low testosterone levels may even qualify for a clinical research study evaluating a potential new treatment option. Participation in clinical research is always voluntary, and eligible participants may receive study-related care and compensation for time and travel.

"Low testosterone can cause symptoms like fatigue, low motivation, mood changes, or decreased muscle strength — but many men don't realize what's behind it," Dr. Gary Reiss, principal investigator at Tandem Clinical Research, said. This screening gives men a chance to take charge of their health and educate themselves on ways to be proactive towards a healthier lifestyle.

Make conscious steps towards change and visit Tandem Clinical Research this month to get your free screening.
