2025 St. Jude Outreach Gala
The St. Jude Outreach Gala at the Pavilion of Two Sisters in City Park was an elegant event that accented how very far New Orleans and the surrounding areas have come in the past two decades since the overwhelming destruction of Hurricane Katrina.
The event had special honors for special dignitaries that contributed and elevated rebuilding efforts in the metro area after the historic category-five storm.
-Anne Milling, Founder of Women of the Storm
-Derrick Tabb, Founder Executive Director of Roots of Music
-State of Louisiana Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser, who leads state tourism
-Doug Thornton, Executive Vice President of ASM Global, which includes the Ceasars Superdome
The recipients were presented with elaborate blown-glass sculptures by Solange Ledwith.
Celebrating 20 Years of New Orleans Culture Rebuilding Together After Hurricane Katrina
The event included music by Antoine Deihl, cuisine by We All Asked for You Catering, and a whiskey tasting from Big Easy Distilling. Guests were also treated to alcohol-infused "adult snowballs." The paddle-raise fundraiser had satirical illustrations of iconic images in the aftermath of the hurricane on each paddle.
The event's annual gala benefits St. Jude Outreach's mission, which includes serving both breakfast and lunch to anyone in need who visits its location at 400 N. Rampart St. daily.
