K1 Speed New Orleans
K1 Speed is fun for all, especially because you don't have to be outdoors in the heat and rain to enjoy these go-karts. K1 Speed in Elmwood is a fully-indoor, fully-electric go-karting experience with other amusements available for in-between race fun. The interesting aspects of these electric go-karts is that all of the karts on the track can be shut down in case of a kart getting stuck on the wall—this is great for children. Your stats are tracked and displayed so you can set goals for yourself. Both kids and adults can ride with junior-only and adult-only races.
When you're not on the track, you can enjoy hot food and cold drinks in the K1 Paddock Lounge. Sports are on the TVs so you won't miss the game. You can wear off your extra adrenaline on the several arcade games, which also include racing games. K1 Speed can be addicting, but you can always go back there for more basic racing or league events.
