Drive over to the Northshore for Mandeville's Ozone Songwriter Fest. Taking place November 5 through 7 at the Mandeville Trailhead, this festival will have hundreds of songwriters from all over the country performing their original songs on four different stages. Comedian Rickey Smiley will be making his return to New Orleans on November 6 at the Saenger Theater. Particularly known for his radio work and hilarious prank phone calls, Smiley's career spans almost 30 years. Show your support to young people at the Boys Hope Girls Hope Golden Gala on November 14. The gala will be at the New Orleans Botanical Gardens from 2 to 5 p.m. and will celebrate the organization's 41st anniversary.
