The New
Orleans Wine and Food Experience (NOWFE) announced that it'll return to the city for its annual
six-day festival from Tuesday, June 7 to Sunday, June 12.
NOWFE has
been an indispensable part of New Orleans' hospitality culture for 30 years. To
celebrate this important milestone, they are currently selling pre-sale Grand
Tasting tickets at
30% off. Tickets will be available until Monday, February 28.
The Grand
Tasting events will take place on Friday, June 10 and Saturday, June 11 at the Sugar Mill. There, guests will try wines from around the world and
chat with winemakers.
NOWFE will
also host its wine dinners, Vinola, Labs and Experiences, Tournament of Rosés,
Burlesque Bubbly & Brunch, and Ella Brennan Gala throughout the week.
Tickets for each will be on sale after Mardi Gras.
NOWFE is one
of the world's most celebrated culinary festivals in the country. Each year,
hundreds of restaurants and wineries partake in this fête where chefs create
menus revolving innovative, mouthwatering local flavors. They are listed as USA
Today's 10Best
for "Best General Food Festival" and "Best Wine Festival."
This year's
festival is made possible by the New Orleans Culinary &
Hospitality Institute (NOCHI) and Café Reconcile.
"Honoring
and celebrating wines from around the world and the food of this great city is
what we live for and overcoming challenges of the last year has made us
stronger as a community," NOWFE Executive Director Aimee Brown said. "We look
forward to hosting another great event and supporting our hospitality industry
for another 30 years."
