Fiesta at Taco Fest
On October 24 at Metairie's Lafreniere Park, Top Taco attendees will be able to sample tacos and drinks from over 40 restaurants while voting on their Top Creative Taco, Top Traditional Taco, Top Vegetarian Taco, and Top Cocktail. After the success of last year's Top Taco, this is an event that no foodie should miss.
Festival Information
Top Taco is a 21+ food-focused event but will also feature live music from performers Flow Tribe, Otra, Margie Perez & Muevelo, and Future Cowboys, along with lucha libre and a burlesque show.
While the lineup of restaurants for the 2024 festival has not been released, the 2023 restaurants included Barracuda Taco Stand, Felipe's Taqueria, Habanero's, Jack Rose, and El Cucuy. Top Taco also boasts talented mixologists who participate in the festival, serving margaritas and creative cocktails using a variety of familiar and new spirits.
Tickets can be purchased from three different tiers: General Admission, First Tasting, and VIP. General Admission is $70, excluding fees, and includes 7 p.m. entry and unlimited tacos and cocktails from the 40+ restaurants vending. First Tasting is $90, excluding fees, and provides the same access as General Admission but allows attendees to enter the festival at 6 p.m., allowing for more time to try all there is to try. VIP is $120, excluding fees, and will provide 6 p.m. entry, additional entry, private restrooms, and access to food from exclusive BBQ competitors.
Tickets can be purchased here. There are a limited number of tickets so attendees should plan to buy them ahead of time. Parking is available on-site but Top Taco highly encourages bringing a designated driver or using rideshare to get to and from the festival.
