Social networking site Pinterest recently shared their newly released list of the 20 Top Pinned places on the website which includes New Orleans!
The Big Easy made the list along with four other US destinations, including Havasu Falls, the Grand Canyon, Glacier National Park, Los Angeles, and New York City. The most pinned places were a majority of international destinations, including Marrakech in Morocco, Kyoto in Tokyo, Lago Todos Los Santos in Chile, Somoto’s Canyon in Nicaragua, Hanoi in Vietnam, Milford Sound National Park in New Zealand, Reykjavik in Iceland, Cape Town in South Africa, Lisboa in Portugal, Tulum in Mexico, Kjeragbolten in Norway, Port Fairy in Australia, Jarlshof in Scotland, Musha Cay in the Bahamas, and Positano in Italy.
Other trending Pins from New Orleans include City Park, French Quarter, Pat O’Brien’s, Frenchmen Street, and House of Blues.
Pinterest also launched brand new updates to Place Pins, adding new information and expanding location data to 7 billion Pins- and counting. The update allows easier access to the places you’ve pinned. Users can now get directions through Google and Apple maps, call a business, visit a website, view hours of operations, and top reviews from people who’ve been there.
