Two Exciting Shows Coming to NOLA
Two exciting and family-friendly shows, Jurassic World Live Tour and Disney on Ice, will be coming to New Orleans in 2024.
For the first time ever, The Jurassic World Live Tour is coming to New Orleans and bringing with it the wonder and thrills of Jurassic World. Also for the first time ever, Disney On Ice is coming to New Orleans to showcase the adventures of two Walt Disney Animation Studios films.
Jurassic World Live Tour
The Jurassic World Live Tour will be taking place at the Smoothie King Center on February 3 and February 4.
At this arena production, Jurassic World will come to life against a captivating backdrop of scenery where dinosaurs, such as the velociraptor Blue and the tyrannosaurus rex from the franchise will take the stage.

This live production will feature over 24 life-sized dinosaurs that appeared in the film. These dinosaurs, operated by animatronics and performers, will have plenty of speed and ferocity. Attendees who are fans of the animated Netflix series Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous will recognize Bumpy, which is the friendly and food motivated dinosaur. In this production, guests will see Bumpy as she quickly grows from a baby dinosaur to an adult.
On February 3, there will be three shows: the first starting at 11 a.m., followed by a show at 3 p.m., and the last show beginning at 7 p.m. On February 4, there will only be two performances: one at 1 p.m. and the other at 5 p.m. Tickets to this show may be purchased online or at the box office during open hours on the day of the event. Family-friendly ticket pricing is also available.
Attendees have the option to start the festivities early with the Pre-Show Experience, which is included with all ticket purchases. One hour before showtime, guests will be able to see the iconic dinosaurs and vehicles up-close and be able to take photos with the triceratops, stegosaurus, Baby Bumpy, as well as and the Jurassic World jeep and gyrosphere.
Disney On Ice presents Frozen and Encanto
For the first time ever, Disney on Ice will be coming to Lakefront Arena, located at 6801 Franklin Ave., from March 28 until March 31. Disney on Ice will be presenting Frozen and Encanto, both animated Disney films, like never before.
At the show, the audience will see Anna, Elsa, Mirabel, and the Madrigal family live, as well as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald, Goofy, and more. Olaf, the beloved snowman from the film who enjoys warm hugs and all things summer, will be narrating the story of Frozen. Ice-skating performances will transport attendees to Arendelle to witness Anna's adventure as she finds Elsa, who has used her powers to unleash an eternal winter. Kristoff and Sven will also be joining in this race to bring back summer.
After the winter encounter, guests will be transported to a town in the mountains of Colombia. This is where the audience will meet the Madrigals, a family who lives in a magical house located in a place called Encanto. The main character, Mirabel, tells the story of her family and her endeavor to save the enchanted family home. Mirabel goes on this journey with her sisters Isabela, who has the ability to make plants grow and flowers bloom with her steps, and Luisa, who has the gift of super-strength and uses this ability to help the village by moving buildings and rerouting rivers. For the first time ever, guests will witness Tia Pepa, who is able to control the weather with her emotions, her husband Felix, their daughter Dolores, and Bruno, whose visions can predict the future.
