It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

Tonight was the Canal Street Lighting Ceremony, sponsored by the Astor Crowne Plaza Hotel and the Downtown Development District. To celebrate the beginning of the holiday season—with the official lighting of the Christmas lights all along Canal Street and the tree at the Astor Crowne Plaza—the hotel held a cocktail reception and buffet, complete with cookie decorating for the kids and a visit from Santa.
