Gretna Fest 2025

Westbank residents and more, get ready to revel on the river at the Gretna Fest from October 3 to 5.

The cultural festival will take over the streets of Historic Old Gretna, allowing visitors to discover and locals to rediscover the Westbank's greatness.

Since its inception in 1994, Gretna Fest has been an annual celebration of the city's rich history and heritage. What began as a small community event has now evolved into one of the largest and most popular festivals in Louisiana. The 2025 Gretna Fest is no exception. The cultural festival is sure to attract hundreds of visitors for three days of fun on the #Festbank.

Listen to the Musical Lineup

A major draw for Gretna Fest each year is its lineup of national and local music acts who liven up the festival's many different stages.

The 2025 musical lineup will include Sam Hunt, Trombone Shorty, Brothers Osborne, Natasha Bedingfield, Better Than Ezra, Bonerama, Amanda Shaw, and so much more.

Venture into the Villages

Gretna is home to nearly 20,000 people, and the festival aims to represent the city's diverse cultural blend. One of the best ways to showcase Gretna's diversity is through its food scene.

Gretna Fest divides its nearly 100 vendors into villages based on the type of cuisine provided. The Italian Village transforms a city block into a festa, complete with pasta and bottles of wine. Nearby, the Asian Village welcomes different vendors to sell banh mi, baozi, and bubble tea.

The German Village brings Oktoberfest to Old Gretna, with a wide selection of beers and brews. The Margarita Village is a street solely dedicated to celebrating Latin America and its delicious cuisine. You can't forget about Louisiana's Creole and Cajun cuisine, which will be prepared by over 40 vendors in the festival's food court.

Appreciate Local Artists

Over 50 craft vendors will arrive in Gretna to display their handmade creations. Some of the vendors' offerings include jewelry, apparel, pictures, candles, and soaps.

The Art Village showcases the works of a dozen artists who are hoping to sell their paintings and sculptures to incoming visitors. Whether you are interested in homemade goods or contemporary art, Gretna Fest will have a few pieces that may catch your eye.
