Independence Day in NOLA

Are you ready to be mesmerized by the city's brightly colored sky this Independence Day?

New Orleans' Go 4th on the River event will be held on Saturday, July 4 at 9 p.m. The event will be held over the Mississippi River, with the firework display stretching between the Gov. Nicholls St. Wharf and the Canal St. Dock.

This is a free, family-friendly event that offers a wide variety of attractions throughout the day. This event is produced by the Riverfront Marketing Group in partnership with the Mayor's Office of Cultural Economy and the New Orleans Tourism and Cultural Fund.

You can also get a bird's eye view of the display from the Vue Orleans, which is 400 feet in the air above the river. You can also see the fireworks from the pool party taking place at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside. You can also witness all the action from the City of New Orleans Riverboat.

The are parking lots along the Riverfront, JAX Brewery, the Riverwalk, and the French Market's Riverside lot. Parking in the Hilton Garage and the Garage at Canal Place will also be available.
