French Quarter Fest may be free, but you can grab a bunch of delicious treats from 27 vendors who’ll be selling food and desserts for $5 and under. Check out vendors including Café Beignet, Bennachin Restaurant, Flamingo A Go-Go, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, and Loretta’s Authentic Pralines — to name a few —along the Riverfront, in Jackson Square, and at Jax Brewery. Bennachin is featuring sweet potato pie for $4, Flamingo A Go-Go will have garlic parmesan fries and a coconut sorbet with honey mango and raspberry for $4 a piece, and Loretta's will sell praline cupcakes and shoe soles for $5. Café Beignet will have an order of 3 three beignets at $4.50 and Ruth's Chris will have a $5 sweet potato casserole. Other choices from other restaurants include chicken bites, snowballs, creole taters, baked mac and cheese, and much more.
