Drum roll, please! Presented by the Greater New Orleans Foundation and sponsored by JPMorgan Chase's AdvancingCities, New Orleans Business Alliance, and Entergy, Propeller and Thrives' Water Challenge finalists will be battling for the gold on Wednesday, June 1 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Senator Ted Hickey Ballroom at the University of New Orleans.
The finalists will pitch innovative strategies for improving the way Southeast Louisiana lives with water. Each finalist will be judged by a panel of leaders who are experts in coastal restoration, green infrastructure, sustainability, and urban water management. The finalist with the best proposal will receive $15,000 in cash.
Delta Builds' Dorothy Nairne and Leonard Guillory, Flourish Horticulture's Fabian Harper, Gro Enterprises's Joel Holton, Groundwater Studio's Michael Biros, and Garden Picasso's Preston Robinson are this year's finalists for the Water Challenge.
