New Orleans' favorite Felipe's Taqueria will be partnering with Tulane University's Quarterback for the 2023-24 season, Michael Pratt. Pratt is currently seen as one of the best quarterbacks in the country after Tulane's historic Cotton Bowl win over USC in January.

Felipe's has been a mainstay in the New Orleans community for over sixteen years. They specialize in made-from-scratch Mexican cuisine in vibrant locations all over the city.

Michael has been a regular at Felipe's ever since his very first year at Tulane in 2020.

A conversation between Pratt and Felipe's HR Director, Lon Nichols, led to the idea of a partnership between Michael and Felipe's for the new football season. Felipe's is thrilled to be working directly with student-athletes, especially since Felipe's and Pratt are mutual big fans of each other.

They also share a love for the New Orleans-based mentorship program, Son of a Saint (SOAS), which helps to support fatherless young men. They will be working together to host a meet and greet dinner with mentors and mentees of Son of a Saint in order to support the organization.

Pratt has said that "[b]eing able to build a partnership that includes things like this Son of a Saint dinner is so special to me because they're an organization dedicated to mentorship and making a difference with the next generation, and I want to work with brands and businesses that are invested in the same things." He is particularly excited to represent Tulane and his teammates in this partnership.

Felipe's partnership with Michael Pratt as well as the Green Wave Football team's connection with SOAS proves the power and importance of community and what can be accomplished with teamwork.

The partnership will be celebrated with the return of the Felipe's Burrito Gun in Yulman Stadium. Pratt had a blast making sure that the burrito gun was all warmed up for game day.
