Crescent City Blues & BBQ Fest 2025
Crescent City Blues & BBQ will take place this year from October 10 to 12 at Lafayette Square Park for its 18th annual celebration.
With performances from top blues artists and BBQ food ranging from traditional to contemporary vegetarian and vegan options, the Crescent City Blues & BBQ festival will have something for everyone. The event is free to attend, but there are VIP tickets available for purchase, which will include reserved front row seating, access to a private lounge, and free drinks. VIP tickets are valid for all three days of the festival and cost $315.99 per person.
The Schedule

The first day of the festival, Friday, October 10, will see a 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. performance by Sierra Green & the Giants, followed by a 7 to 8:30 p.m. performance by Tab Benoit.
Saturday, October 11, will have eight performances throughout the day, with four shows on each of the event's stages. Participating artists for that day will include Leo Nocentelli of the Meters, Devon Allman's Blues Summit, Wolfe Johns, Mem Shannon & the Membership, Carolyn Wonderland, Jontavious Willis, and Eric Johanson.
Sunday, October 12, will also see eight performances total, divided between the Camp and St. Charles Ave. stages. That day will feature the likes of Little Freddie King, Bobby Rush, Hubby Jenkins, Cindy Cashdollar, Brian Mitchell, the Woodstock All-Stars, Joy Clark, The Top Notes featuring Ernie Vincent, Tyron Benoit Band, and Mia Borders.
This year will continue with the annual auction of a guitar by Painted Axe and signed by all of the festival's performers, with proceeds doing to the Jazz Heritage Foundation's educational outreach programs.
If you can't make it in person, the festival will be broadcast on the Jazz & Heritage community radio station WWOZ New Orleans 90.7 FM as well as live streamed on their website at wwoz.org.
The Logistics
Lafayette Square Park can be reached by St. Charles streetcar and the Magazine Street bus. For those who are driving, there is parking available for a fee at the Poydras Center located at 60 Poydras St. There are also several other street level parking options available for a price.
There is special seating provided for guests in wheel chairs, as well as accessible restrooms, the lock combinations for which can be provided by the Information Booth or volunteer greeters. There are also ADA drop off and unloading points on Camp Street.
Recording is not permitted at the festival, and all forms of smoking are prohibited within the premises. Only service animals are allowed at the event, so your pets must be left at home.
