About Dirty Linen Night
The 23rd annual Dirty Linen Night will take place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. along Royal Street in the French Quarter. The celebration will stretch across the 200-1100 blocks of Royal Street, with select Chartres Street shops also joining the festivities.
Throughout the evening, galleries, boutiques, and local businesses will open their doors for guests to explore artwork, meet creators, and experience the energy of one of New Orleans' most iconic neighborhoods. Attendees can expect gallery exhibitions, live street music, specialty drinks, and plenty of opportunities to discover local artists and makers.
Organized by the Royal Street Arts District, Dirty Linen Night has grown into a major French Quarter event, drawing thousands of locals and visitors each year. The celebration highlights the businesses and galleries that make Royal Street a destination for art and culture while creating a lively, walkable block party atmosphere.
