Local Musical Education
In partnership with the New Orleans Music Education Collaborative and NOLA Public Schools, the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation is hosting a Back-To-School Jam open house on August 17, showcasing a variety of after-school music education programs.
The free and open-to-the-public event is taking place at theGeorge & Joyce Wein Jazz & Heritage Center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., offering prospective students the opportunity to explore a diverse array of music programs, watch performances, and register for programs.
By bringing together distinguished music education organizations from across New Orleans, students are able to interact with a multitude of organizations, ask questions, and gain a deeper perspective into each program.
