The Children's Hospital New Orleans is partnering with Kern Studios, a renowned art studio here in New Orleans known for its custom props, floats, and parades, to host their inaugural holiday parade. This special event will feature custom-designed holiday parade floats, animatronic props, and intricate lighting, audio, and visual effects.
As if this wasn't enough, the parade will also include traditional marching groups and bands and high-flying helium balloons, which will be their first ever appearance in New Orleans. Additionally, the parade will also include elements such as oversized toy soldiers and their signature 30-foot rendering of Santa Claus. To conclude the night, the parade will finish with a festive concert and village experience in Lafayette Square.
A Collaborative Effort
The Children's Hospital New Orleans Holiday Parade is made possible with the help of many generous partners such as the Downtown Development District, NewOrleans.com, WDSU and many more. Thanks to the hard work of each of these organizations, this inaugural holiday parade will be a landmark event and the first of its kind for the city of New Orleans. More information on the event will be released by Children's Hospital New Orleans and Kern Studios on Thursday, Nov. 10.
