In pursuit of cultivating a body-positive and environmentally cleaner world, the World Naked Bike Ride's ultimate mission is to be a safe haven for individuals across the globe who desire to make the world they live in a little brighter.

NOLA's Naked Bike Ride, which will go into its 13th year this year, has added a gleam of excitement in an already lively city. The event will take place on June 12 at 4 p.m. and will have its start at Mickey Markey Park, which is located at 3301 Royal St. in the Bywater. So, if you're interested in biking in the buff throughout one of the most historic cities in America, this event is for you.

Sharing one's nudeness for this event will go towards a great cause. This unique yet extravagant event is dedicated to promoting the beauty of our external nature as human beings, as well as promoting environmentally clean and safe ways of transportation.

With this event's motto being "As Bare As You Dare, "one doesn't have to feel totally out of place if you are not comfortable undressing fully. Fellow participants also aren't limited to ride just bikes; anything from rollerblades to skateboards, and even joggers, are allowed to join in on the fun, as long as there are no motors.

Make sure to join World Naked Bike Ride NOLA's Facebook group to find out more about the event, as well as get to know some new friends before the ride.
