The Gustave Blache III Art Scholarship Informational Session will be held at The Helis Foundation John Scott Center on Wednesday November 1, from 5 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
This art scholarship informational session is hosted by The Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities and artist Gustave Blache III.
Gustave Blanche III Art Scholarship Informational Session
High school seniors or those beginning to work on obtaining a Master of Fine Arts degree from Louisiana are eligible to apply for the Gustave Blache III Art Scholarships. The Gustave Blache III Art Scholarships for Aspiring Artists will be in support of undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York City.
Applications will be open from November 27 until December 18, the applications are open to all aspiring visual artists from Louisiana that are pursuing illustration degrees in either Bachelor or Master of Fine Arts. The scholarships are worth $25,000 for the duration of the specific program at SVA in New York.
The final gifting of the scholarships relies on the applicant's application and acceptance into the illustration program at SVA. The scholarships will not be able to be used at any other school.
